If you are reading this there is a chance that you are experiencing some emotional difficulties. Although the thought of counselling or psychotherapy can be scary, the process of self-discovery can be very rewarding and healing. Working through unresolved issues or bringing to the surface relational dynamics or conditional ways of living can be life changing.  It is never too late to move forward, to live more authentically and to adopt a positive mindset and improve your self esteem.

I have over 10 years' experience working with adults, couples and young people. I aim to provide a collaborative relationship without agenda or judgement, a safe supportive space to help you explore, and to facilitate the changes you decide are necessary to live more authentically and to build your own internal self-respect.

I have a relaxed, integrative approach, incorporating training and experience in humanistic, existential, CBT and coaching principles. I specialise in Postnatal Depression and Attachment Psychotherapy and all aspects of Relational issues, whether that be with people or other attachments like food etc, by either short or long-term counselling/psychotherapy.

Clinical Supervision

Inskipp and Proctor (1995) describe supervision as:- “ a working alliance between a supervisor and a counsellor in which the counsellor can offer an account or recording of her work; reflect on it; receive feedback and, where appropriate, guidance.

The object of this alliance is to enable the counsellor to gain in ethical competence,
confidence, compassion and creativity so as to give her best possible service to her client”.
